Neoregelia fluminensis
Neoregelia fluminensis, a species found endemic to Brazil, displays leaves with coppery hues and small, dark red speckles. As the rosette matures to about 8 inches across, the leaves elegantly fan out, reaching a count of approximately 12. Pups emerge along 3-inch-long stolons, allowing this plant to climb trees, reminiscent of species compacta or mcwilliamsii. Its unique coloration adds a nice color break in the landscape garden.
