Neoregelia 'Optimus Prime' (non-variegated)
Neoregelia 'Optimus Prime' (non-variegated) is a medium-sized bromeliad with green leaves intersected by striking red cross-banding. The mature rosette measures approximately 16 inches. When exposed to bright light, the leaves transform into a vibrant yellow color with dark red hues around the tips, complemented by small apiculate black tips. This exceptional hybrid is a result of (carolinae variegated x Hannibal Lecter) x Norman Bates.
