Widely recognized for its role in producing some of the most stunning hybrids, this species has gained a legendary reputation for passing on highly desirable traits. Its light green leaves are marked with subtle grey banding in their early stages, while the mature foliage displays prominent ivory mottling. This plant typically grows to a height of 16-18 inches and boasts a striking red inflorescence with brilliant blue flowers when in bloom.
