Billbergia 'Novena'
Novena' is a stunning Billbergia hybrid created by Bob Spivey by crossing 'Afterglow' with 'Domingos Martins'. The plant has a chocolate-colored background with a pinkish hue and small white blotches all over the leaves. The outer sides of the leaves are covered with frosty silver bandings, which adds to its striking appearance. The inflorescence is a showy spike with large red bracts, pink sepals, and bright blue coiled petals. The plant can reach a height of up to 12 inches. Like most Billbergias, the color of 'Novena' intensifies with strong light and reduced feeding.

Light requirements: Strong filtered light: Prefers moderate levels of light, such as bright indirect light or filtered sunlight. Thrives in well-lit spaces without direct exposure to intense sunlight.
