Aechmea mulfordii 'Malva' is a cultivar of Aechmea mulfordii, notable for its striking silver-purple foliage and long, branching yellow inflorescence. It forms a large, open, funnel-shaped rosette with broad, black-spined, leathery, purplish puce-colored, strap-like leaves. The plant produces an erect or leaning, branched spike with bright orange-bracted clusters and orange flowers. This variety can grow to an impressive size of up to 40 inches high by 35 inches wide.
