Neoregelia orlandiana 'Bert' is a rosette plant characterized by its upright, tubular vase shape. The leaves are rigid and elongated, supported by long and sturdy stolons. These attractive leaves exhibit a dull green color with brownish mottled or banded patterns. They have a slightly puckered texture and robust black spines. Above the foliage, the inflorescence emerges, consisting of clusters of yellow branches and reddish bracts. The rosettes can reach heights of up to 2 inches and have a diameter of approximately 8 inches. When grown as an epiphyte, the tubular shape of the plant becomes more pronounced. This species is highly stoloniferous, making it an excellent for mounting on trees.
