Aechmea Orlandiana 'White Knight' is a notable cultivar within the orlandiana species, named by Jim Irvin. This particular clone of orlandiana exhibits a large size with an upright growth habit, while the lower leaves gracefully droop, creating a characteristic "skirt" effect commonly seen in the species. The standout feature of 'White Knight' is its white background coloration, which can develop a pinkish blush under strong light. The leaves have a captivating pattern of dark brown and dark green mottling.

To emulate the natural growth of Orlandiana species in the wild, it is recommended to mount 'White Knight' on trees, utilizing its strong roots to attach and thrive.

Growth habit: Small

Light requirements: Strong filtered light: Prefers moderate levels of light, such as bright indirect light or filtered sunlight. Thrives in well-lit spaces without direct exposure to intense sunlight.
