Billbergia 'Doohickey' is a distinctive clone developed by Ray Coleman, resulting from the cross between vittata 'Domingos Martins' and 'Sangre'. This plant features a tight and flaring tube structure with a captivating deep cranberry color. On newer growth, creamy white blotches accentuate its beauty. As 'Doohickey' matures, it develops an attractive white-silver banding that enhances its overall appearance. To achieve the best coloration, it is recommended to grow this variety under slightly more challenging conditions, as it thrives when cultivated on the harder side.
