Neoregelia 'Ed Prince'
Neoregelia 'Ed Prince' is a Skotak hybrid that resulted from crossing punctatissima rubra with Hannibal Lecter. Although it is said to belong to the same grex as 'Tunisia', it is slightly smaller and less symmetrical. It was introduced in 2012, but in reality, it was a cultivar created by Chester in 2002 using Punctate Red and Hannibal Lector. The plant has a general size and shape similar to N. ampullacea and features reddish bars over a yellowish green base color on top, with reddish coloration underneath. The plant's marginal spines are robust and black, and the leaf tips are apiculate.
Growth habit: small
Light requirements: Strong filtered light: Prefers moderate levels of light, such as bright indirect light or filtered sunlight. Thrives in well-lit spaces without direct exposure to intense sunlight.
