Neoregelia mcwilliamsii
Neoregelia mcwilliamsii is a strikingly large, light green, spineless species that creates a dramatic impact in the landscape. Imagine it as a super-sized version of *Neoregelia compacta*, being two to three times larger. Like *compacta*, it features a vibrant cherry-red center at the time of inflorescence and is highly prolific. In the landscape, this stunning plant spreads through stoloniferous runners, capable of filling an area or even climbing the trunk of a tree. At maturity, it reaches an impressive width of about 30 inches. It has smooth, spineless leaves, making it an excellent choice for both visual impact and ease of care.
