Aechmea 'Vaquero' is an exceptional hybrid, resulting from the crossbreeding of Aechmea maculata (Red Form) and Aechmea pineliana v. minuta, skillfully accomplished by Grant Groves. This cultivar displays an upright growth habit, showcasing a tight and tubular shape. The stiff leaves are adorned with spines and feature light red bandings on both the inner and outer sides, adding to its visual appeal. The inflorescence emerges from a vibrant red bract, accompanied by striking yellow flowers. Aechmea 'Vaquero' is highly showy, capturing attention with its captivating foliage and attractive floral display.
